Dave Cowley and I have done business together for the past 27 years. That’s a long time to have an exclusive relationship! The relationship has endured because frankly put, Dave is the best at what he does. He is creative, innovative, cost conscious, quality driven, and a constant source of new ideas and products. 27 years ago when Dave and I met, we had one goal – issue the best, most creative and high quality business promotion products at a reasonable price. Dave has never failed to deliver. I could give you countless examples, but one will carry the message best. My company was a sponsor at an annual, highly attended (500) golf event. On the 8th hole, the giveaway from the previous hole sponsorship was filling the trash can. At that same event, and throughout the 25 years since, a majority of participants and sponsors ask about “. . .this year’s MCE gift . . .” and how excited they are to see what’s new and in particular useful. Ali goes above and beyond to provide hip and quality promotional products within budget for both our firm's internal events, as well as external events, and she is there with me through every step of the way. I have been working with Dave Cowley Incentives and specifically Shelly Harrington for about 5 years now. The working relationship that I have experienced with Shelly has been extremely successful. While I know that it is far from reality, with Shelly’s dedication and attention to our account, I feel that we are her only customer, (which could not be further from the truth). I feel that I can call or text Shelly anytime with a need for product ideas and/or quotes, and I know from past experience, she get started on it immediately. I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Shelly Harrington. As President of Elephant Entertainment, I worked with David on a unique project for Best Buy and Activision, combining a merchandising opportunity for the massive Guitar Hero 2 launch with a charitable/community support initiative for the Boys & Girls Club of MN. Based on an idea from one of the key executives at Best Buy, we created the concept for a guitar key chain/fob, modeled after the guitar form included in the Guitar Hero game, which was to be sold by Best Buy along with the Guitar Hero 2 products, and for which all sales proceeds for the guitar fob were going to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of MN by Best Buy. Once the concept was completed, I immediately contacted David, who wasted no time in researching a resource in Asia, developing key milestones and timing for on-time delivery of the goods, lined up the manufacturing slots for the various component pieces, and orchestrated the complex distribution requirements for the finished goods coming out of Asia and making it into the Best Buy distribution centers, all in six short weeks, and doing so in time for the Guitar Hero 2 launch. The products and launch were smashing successes at Best Buy, and enabled Best Buy to contribute over $300,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of MN. I wholeheartedly endorse David & Cowley Enterprises and their ability to creatively manage and deliver on-time these kinds of special and custom projects. He is an expert in fulfilling complicated opportunities such as these, and I will without hesitation be working with David again on these kind of projects in the future.
